1. Acceptance of Terms By using Host’n’Post, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Account Rules & Termination Users must be at least 18 years old to use the app. Users must not post illegal, harmful, or offensive content. We reserve the right to ban or suspend accounts that violate our policies. Users may appeal a suspension by contacting support@hostnpost.com.

3. Liability Disclaimer Host’n’Post only facilitates connections and is not responsible for user actions. We are not liable for harm, damages, or disputes between users. Users assume responsibility for their own safety when attending events found through the app.

4. Content Moderation & Compliance Users can report illegal or harmful content via our in-app reporting tool. Suspended users may appeal within 30 days of receiving notice. Some moderation may be automated under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).

5. User-Generated Content & Licensing By posting, uploading, or submitting content (such as stories, event details, photos, or interactions) on Host’n’Post, you grant Host’n’Post a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, modify, distribute, publicly display, and create derivative works from such content for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes. This includes displaying content in advertisements, social media campaigns, and other marketing materials. Content Limitations & Fair Use We will only use publicly shared content that is non-sensitive, appropriate, and aligns with fair use practices. We will not use private messages, personal account data, sensitive content, or any material that could misrepresent users or cause harm. We reserve the right to edit, crop, or enhance content to fit promotional materials while maintaining its original intent. Privacy Considerations Private messages, emails, and payment data will never be used for marketing. If you do not want your publicly posted content used for marketing, you may opt out by contacting privacy@hostnpost.com.

6. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you have any questions, contact us at support@hostnpost.com. By continuing to use Host’n’Post, you agree to these terms. (edited)

7.1 Free Use Host’n’Post can be used free of charge. All users may access the core features of the platform without payment. Some additional features and functionalities — including but not limited to extra swipes, advanced swipe filters, direct connection access from profiles, visibility of incoming connection interest, and additional story posting capacity — are available through in-app purchases or subscriptions. 7.2 Paid Features and Subscriptions We offer weekly, monthly, and quarterly subscription plans and other in-app purchases (such as boosts) that provide enhanced visibility and functionality. These purchases are handled through our payment partners and are subject to auto-renewal until cancelled. Pricing is displayed in-app at the time of purchase. We may update the subscription pricing and features at any time, with changes applying to future billing cycles. 7.3 Payment Processing All transactions for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed securely through third-party providers, including RevenueCat and associated mobile platforms (e.g., App Store and Google Play). Host’n’Post does not store or directly process payment information. Your purchase will be subject to the payment policies of the relevant platform. 7.4 Free Trials and Renewals Subscription plans may include a free trial period. Unless cancelled before the end of the trial, subscriptions will automatically convert to a paid plan and renew on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or quarterly, as applicable). You can cancel your subscription at any time via your mobile platform account settings (e.g., iCloud Subscriptions for iOS). 7.5 Events and Host Payments Hosts may set their own prices for events or parties. When a guest books an event, payment is collected and held securely by Host’n’Post’s payment infrastructure using Stripe in combination with RevenueCat. Host’n’Post applies a commission to all event transactions. Funds are held in escrow and are only released after the attendee checks in at the event using the in-app QR code system. If the attendee does not check in, the payment is automatically returned to the buyer. 7.6 Payouts to Hosts Funds from event payments are held for 14 days after the event before being transferred to the host. Hosts are responsible for ensuring their event is legitimate and meets all legal and platform requirements. Host’n’Post reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of fraud, policy violations, or prohibited activities. 7.7 Refund Policy All purchases of subscriptions, boosts, and other Host’n’Post in-app features are non-refundable except where required by law or under the applicable mobile platform’s refund policy. Host’n’Post does not mediate or handle disputes between guests and hosts. Event payments are automatically refunded only if the attendee does not check in at the event. All other matters are the responsibility of the users involved. 7.8 Prohibited Payments You may not use Host’n’Post’s payment infrastructure to process or facilitate transactions involving: 1. Escorting, sexual services, or sexually explicit content 2. Illegal drugs, alcohol (where prohibited), or tobacco 3. Gambling, betting, lotteries, or similar activities 4. Weapons, explosives, or related accessories 5. Fraudulent schemes (MLM, pyramid, Ponzi, etc.) 6. Any other illegal goods, services, or activities Host’n’Post reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or block accounts engaging in such activity.

7.9 Price Changes We may change the pricing of subscriptions, boosts, or other paid services at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle and will be communicated in advance where required. 7.10 Liability and Disclaimers Host’n’Post acts solely as a platform and is not a party to transactions between hosts and guests. We do not guarantee the behavior of users, the quality of events, or the use of funds by hosts. 8. Definitions For the purposes of these Terms: “User” means any person who accesses or uses Host’n’Post in any capacity, including browsing, posting content, attending events, or hosting. “Host” means a User who creates and manages an event on the platform. “Guest” means a User who attends an event hosted by another User. “Event” means any activity organized by a Host through Host’n’Post, whether free or paid. “In-App Purchases” refers to any paid features, including subscriptions, boosts, extra swipes, filters, or similar enhancements. “Platform” refers to the Host’n’Post mobile application, website, and related services. “Content” means any text, images, videos, stories, event descriptions, or other material posted or shared by Users or by Host’n’Post.

9. User Conduct & Acceptable Use Users agree not to use Host’n’Post for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to: 1. Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior. 2. Impersonating other individuals or entities. 3. Promoting or participating in illegal activities. 4. Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform. 5. Using bots, scraping, or automated tools without authorization. 6. Circumventing features or restrictions of the platform. 7. Organizing or promoting events that violate local laws. Violation of these rules may result in suspension or permanent termination of the account without refund.

10. Right to Suspend or Terminate Accounts We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time if: The User violates these Terms of Service. The User engages in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. The User’s actions pose a risk to the safety or integrity of the platform or its users. We may take these actions without prior notice. Terminated users have no entitlement to continued use of the platform. Users may appeal suspensions by contacting support@hostnpost.com

11. Third-Party Services Host’n’Post may integrate with third-party services and providers (e.g., payment processors, analytics, app store platforms). We are not responsible for failures, downtime, or disputes arising from third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies. Host’n’Post is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services.

12. Copyright & Intellectual Property All rights, title, and interest in and to the Host’n’Post platform, including design, code, and branding, remain the exclusive property of Host’n’Post. Users retain ownership of the content they post but grant Host’n’Post a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute publicly shared content for operational and promotional purposes. Private messages and payment data are never used for promotional purposes. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, contact legal@hostnpost.com with relevant details.

13. Indemnification by Users You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Host’n’Post ApS, its owners, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of: Your use or misuse of the platform. Your violation of these Terms of Service. Your interaction or dispute with other Users, whether online or at real-world events. Any content you post or share.

14. Limitation of Liability Host’n’Post is not responsible for any harm, injury, loss, or damages resulting from user interactions, events, or misuse of the platform. We do not vet or conduct background checks on Users. Participation in any event is at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed €50. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of user-generated content.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark. Users are encouraged to contact support@hostnpost.com first to attempt to resolve any disputes informally before taking legal action.

16. Miscellaneous Assignment: We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction. Users may not assign their rights without our written consent. Severability: If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not waive that right. Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Host’n’Post regarding use of the platform.
